James Franklin and the Penn State football coaching staff paid tribute to the Nittany Lions’ wrestling program on Monday.
Over the weekend, the Penn State wrestling program, led by the legendary Cael Sanderson, dominated top-ranked Oklahoma State to earn their second straight National Wrestling Coaches Association Dual Championship Series.
It is just the latest feather in the cap of the dominant program.
To honor the Nittany Lions’ latest accomplishment, Franklin and his assistants held a meeting wearing their very own wrestling singlets.
Congrats @pennstateWrest & @caelsanderson– big win at Oklahoma St! Compete in everything you do! #NotAGoodLookOnUs pic.twitter.com/eXMoUmkE5K

Amazing.
Penn State wrestling will now turn their attention to the Big Ten Wrestling Championships. The Nittany Lions are the defending champions and have won five of the last six conference titles.
If that wasn’t impressive enough, Penn State has won five of the last six team national titles at the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships.
Penn State really has something special going with its wrestling program.
