VIDEO: Rick Pitino Nearly Throws Hands With UNC Fan

Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino let emotions get the best of him during halftime of Wednesday night’s game against North Carolina.

While making his way back to the locker room, Pitino got into a shouting match with a Tar Heels fan and had to be restrained.

UNC was leading Louisville at halftime, so the tension and frustration was certainly there.

Things haven’t gotten any better for the Cardinals when play resumed, with North Carolina extending its lead to eight points, 51-42, midway through the second half.

Hopefully Pitino can avoid any further incident.
