Brandon Harris Transfer: Ex-LSU QB Could Choose SEC School

There is an update on the Brandon Harris transfer front.
During an appearance on 104.5 ESPN Baton Rouge, the former LSU quarterback indicated he has had contact with a couple of SEC schools and he has not yet ruled out that option as a graduate transfer.
Harris would not go into specifics, but made it clear that he has options.
“Yeah, I’ve talked to a couple schools in the SEC, about different opportunities,” Harris said on Off the Bench with Culotta & T-Bob as transcribed by Saturday Down South.
“Obviously, these are bridge situations where you are going in because they don’t have a quarterback that is necessarily ready to play. They may be in a situation where they just lost a senior, and they got two freshmen that are not necessarily ready to play or could be a situation where they don’t feel they have a quarterback on the roster. But I have talked to a couple SEC schools.”
As a graduate transfer, Harris will be eligible to play immediately once he joins his new home.
If he does go to another SEC school, it will be interesting to see if he earns a starting job and ends up facing off against the Tigers later in 2017.
