The future is looking up for Mark Richt and the Miami football program.
After receiving their latest four-star commitment, IMG Academy wide receiver Brian Hightower, the Hurricanes have jumped to the No. 1 spot in the 2018 composite team rankings by 247 Sports.
Hightower became the sixth four-star prospect to commit to the Hurricanes’ Class of 2018, while the team has also landed five-star running back Lorenzo Lingard.
In total, Miami has 13 verbal commitments for 2018.
Penn State previously held the top spot in the 2018 rankings.
