According to reports, Khabib Nurmagomedov is out of his UFC 209 co-main event with Tony Ferguson after being hospitalized prior to weigh-ins.
Nurmagomedov was set to face off against Ferguson for the interim UFC lightweight title.
UPDATE: A UFC press release confirms Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson is off due to the orders of the doctors. Nurmagomedov has been released from the hospital, but was not medically cleared.

UFC lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov was transported to Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center Thursday evening due to weight management medical issues. He was treated and has been discharged, UFC officials confirmed.
The scheduled interim lightweight championship bout between Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson at UFC 209 has been cancelled on the doctor’s recommendation.
UFC 209 emanates from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Saturday night live on Pay-Per-View at 10pm/7pm ETPT. Tyron Woodley takes on Stephen Thompson with his welterweight championship on the line in a rematch from their 2016 Fight of the Year contender at UFC 205.
UPDATE: Ariel Helwani is reporting Khabib Nurmagomedov is still in the hospital.

There are interesting reports surfacing prior to UFC 209.
According to Karim Zidan of Bloody Elbow, Russian media outlets co-main event participant Khabib Nurmagomedov, who will face Tony Ferguson for the interim lightweight title on Saturday night, was taken to the hospital hours prior to the weigh-in.
No details were provided for the reason of the report, but Nurmagomedov’s manager refused to comment.
“Russian media reporting Khabib was taken to hospital three hours before the weigh-ins. Izvestia reported news after speaking to his father,” Zidan wrote.
He added, “This is a report and has NOT been confirmed. Media members at UFC 209 will be able to make sense of this in due time.”
