Mitch Trubisky will work out for NFL teams during his Pro Day on Tuesday.
While a number of teams will be in attendance to get a first-hand look at one of the top quarterbacks in the 2017 NFL Draft, there is one potential suitor that will not be making the trip.
In a surprising move, May Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports neither Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson nor general manager Sashi Brown will attend.
Cleveland holds the No. 1 overall pick and a second first-rounder, so many believed Trubisky could be on their radar.
However, with the Browns’ brass deciding to pass on his workout, there could be a shift in that thinking. Of course, this is draft season, so perhaps the Browns have already seen enough of Trubisky to make their decision and skipping the Pro Day is their way of making 31 other NFL teams wonder what is going on.
