Delta Air Lines is the early leader in the clubhouse for best tweet of the week. In the midst of United’s leggings ban controversy which drew plenty of criticism on social media over the weekend, the Delta social media team huddled and sent out a brilliant dig on Monday morning.
United Airlines drew criticism for its company’s dress code, which apparently bans “form-fitting” spandex pants. That means leggings are banned, so some female travelers were turned away prior to a flight to Minnesota.
United attempted to clarify the leggings ban, saying it only applied to “pass travelers,” but that didn’t stop the onslaught of complaints.
In an attempt to add some humor to the discussion while trolling their rival, Delta sent out this hilarious burn.
Flying Delta means comfort. (That means you can wear your leggings. 😉)

That’s how you do social media.
Someone on the Delta social media team deserves a raise.
