Jalen Tabor 40 Time: Florida CB Runs Atrocious 4.77

The Florida Pro Day did not go over well for star Gators cornerback Jalen Tabor.
During the team’s workouts in front of representatives for teams around the NFL, Tabor put up a disappointing time of 4.77 seconds in the 40-yard dash. At the NFL Scouting Combine, Tabor recorded a time of a 4.62, so there are plenty of questions regarding where things went wrong.
The 4.77 seconds would have been the worst 40-yard dash time from a defensive back at the Combine.

Tabor has had plenty of success on the field and teams will go back to look at the tape, but there will be concerns over his speed after such an awful time at the Pro Day — where times are generally more favorable for the players.
As far as Tabor is concerned, however, the 40 time shouldn’t impact him too much.
“It is what it is,” Tabor said, via 247 Sports. “I ran as fast as I can run.”
We will see if NFL teams agree.
