LaVar Ball Blames White Guys For UCLA's Sweet 16 Loss

LaVar Ball is at it again.
During a recent conversation where he was discussing the UCLA basketball team’s exit from the 2017 NCAA Tournament, he blamed the team’s white guys for being too slow and costing the Bruins any chance at a championship.
Realistically you can’t win no championship with three white guys because the foot speed is too slow,” Ball said, via Clay Fowler of the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin. “I told Lonzo – ‘One of these games you might need to go for 30 or 40 points.’ It turned out that was the one game. Then once they get to the Elite 8, they’re right there.”
Welp, you can always count on LaVar for a blistering hot take.
Ball was obviously referring to UCLA starters TJ Leaf, Bryce Alford and Thomas Welsh.
The trio of “white guys” put up 39 points in the Bruins’ season-ending loss, so you can’t exactly blame them for their performance.
You can blame LaVar, though, for constantly being a distraction and becoming the biggest stage dad in sports.
