Last season, the 6-foot-5 guard averaged 12.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

Other players to transfer from Memphis are the Lawson brothers Dedric and K.J., guards Craig Randall and Keon Clergeot and 6-foot-11 big man Chad Rykhoek.

The Lawsons committed to Kansas earlier in the day and will be forced to sit out a year to satisfy NCAA transfer rules.

Memphis head coach Tubby Smith has his work cut out for him leading up to next season.
