Former MC Hammer Dancer Is A Football Coach & Yep, He Still Has Moves

Alonzo Carter is a smart football coach. Not because of X’s and O’s, but because he’s got a fallback career. Or maybe being a football coach was the fallback.

Either way, this coach has got moves.

Once upon time, coach Carter was the choreographer for MC Hammer’s infamous “U Can’t Touch This” music video. He both starred in, and trained the dancer who appear in the video before going on tour.

Now, in front of his team, he decided to show that he still has the moves.

Nothing unites a locker room like a little MC Hammer.

On the gridiron, Carter is rising through the ranks and is currently the running backs coach at San Jose State. He’d previously spent six years at the JUCO level, and won several championships at high school level. With an obvious penchant for camaraderie, Carter appears to fit the label of “players coach.”

The players are loose, having fun at spring practice, that can only mean one thing:

This season they’re going all the way to 5-7.
