Russell Athletic Bowl Undergoes Name Change

The Russell Athletic Bowl is going through a rebranding process this offseason.
On Tuesday, it was announced that the bowl game which features an ACC-Big 12 matchup will be changing its name after agreeing to a new title sponsor.
Camping World chairman and CEO Marcus Lemonis announced that Florida Citrus Sports will be taking off as the new sponsor with the new name simply being the Camping World Bowl — the game is played at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

“Florida Citrus Sports is thrilled for the opportunity to deepen our relationship with Camping World, who has proven to be an incredible partner to our organization and to Orlando,” said Steve Hogan, CEO of FCSports, in a statement.
“We’re also humbled that they chose to partner with us again and believe that to be a testament to the value that our community, our stadium and our events can provide.”
The Camping World Bowl will air continue to air on ESPN, but there is no word on a date or time for 2017’s game.
