Miles Bridges is returning for his sophomore season.
On Thursday evening, the Michigan State basketball star announced he would be returning to school despite being viewed by many as a potential lottery pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Bridges made his announcement in front of a huge crowd of Michigan State fans.
Last season, the 6-foot-7 freshman sensation averaged 16.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game en route to earning All-Big Ten honors.
With Bridges return, the Spartans will widely be regarded as serious contenders for the national championship during the 2017-18 college basketball season.

Tom Izzo is going to have quite the roster on his hands next season, so we’ll have to see if Michigan State can live up to what will likely be very lofty expectations.
