Minnesota Football Player Receives Scholarship In Easter Egg Hunt

Minnesota football player Blake Cashman, a walk-on linebacker, had an incredible Easter.
Before taking a break to enjoy the holiday weekend, the Golden Gophers awarded Cashman with a scholarship with a very creative reveal.
Players were informed they were going on an Easter egg hunt. They were split off into groups of two and taped together. If the players separated, they were disqualified.
But in the end, none of that really mattered.
Because the big surprise came at the end when players were asked to open their eggs which announced Cashman’s scholarship.

These videos are always great to see and you have to appreciate seeing how happy the Minnesota players are for their teammate. Last season as a sophomore, Cashman recorded 45 tackles, a team-leading 7.5 sacks, 20.5 tackles for a loss and one forced fumble in 13 games.
