Blake Griffin Injury: Clippers Star To Miss Remainder Of NBA Playoffs

The latest Blake Griffin injury is going to cost him the remainder of the 2017 NBA Playoffs.

On Saturday morning, the Los Angeles Clippers sent out a press release stating Griffin will miss the remainder of the postseasonan due to an injury to his right plantar plate.

The injury occurred during Los Angeles’ Game 3 win over the Utah Jazz. Griffin injured his foot during the first half and was unable to return.

The Clippers currently lead the series, 2-1, but things will be tougher from here on out without their star forward.

The Clippers and Jazz return to action on Sunday night at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City. Griffin will be re-evaluated when the team returns home to Los Angeles following Sunday’s game.
