Paul Finebaum won’t be receiving any postcards from Pro Football Hall of Famer Warren Sapp anytime soon.
On Tuesday morning, Finebaum stopped by ESPN’s Mike & Mike in the Morning to discuss a number of topics from the upcoming 2017 NFL Draft when he was asked about Sapp’s comments regarding projected No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett.
Sapp had previously called Garrett a lazy player and questioned whether he was worthy of the top pick, and that didn’t sit well with Finebaum.
In a complete takedown of Sapp, Finebaum called the former NFL star a “complete loser” who has “zero integrity and credibility.” Ouch. Tell us how you really feel, Paul.

“I just fell out of my chair laughing when I heard the Warren Sapp story yesterday. And listen, I’m not here to critique Warren Sapp’s career. He’s a Hall of Famer, he’s one of the best of all time. But when it comes to credibility on someone being lazy, when it comes to credibility on someone having integrity, I’m not listening to Warren Sapp. I’m sorry, he’s a complete loser on that front and his record and his resume will back that up.”
Welp, it looks like we could be set for a war of words between Sapp and Finebaum, so let the games begin.
And we thought draft week was already exciting…
