Former Dallas Cowboys star Drew Pearson was in Philadelphia to announce the team’s second-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Of course, he was welcomed by a chorus of boos from the Eagles faithful, but that didn’t stop Pearson from powering through and delivering what turned out to be one of the most epic draft announcements in the event’s history.
Pearson seemingly taunted the Philadelphia fans while he shouted over them and rattled off the Cowboys’ achievements.
Then, Pearson finally revealed the pick was Colorado defensive back Chidobe Awuzie.

“How about them Cowboys? I want to thank the Eagles fans for allowing me to have a career in the NFL. Thank you!
“I am honored as an undrafted free agent to be selected to make the Cowboys’ second-round draft pick, and on behalf of the five-time world champion Dallas Cowboys, Hall of Fame owner Jerry Jones, Team Jones and the Jones family, coach Jason Garrett, all the Cowboys players that played before me, that played with me, that played after me, with the second pick and the 60th pick in the second round, the Dallas Cowboys select defensive back from Colorado, Chidobe Awuzie.”
Pearson was already a Cowboys legend, but now he will forever be remembered by NFL fans across the world for this incredible announcement.
