The 2017 NHL Playoffs roll on Monday afternoon with a lone game in the Eastern Conference. The Pittsburgh Penguins host the Washington Capitals for the first time in their second round series, but already have a commanding lead.
Pittsburgh was able to go into the nation’s capital and steal two games on the road, including a 6-2 shellacking in Game 2 over the weekend.
The Capitals will need to bounce back in a big way on Monday night if they hope to avoid what would likely be an insurmountable 3-0 hole against one of the top star-studded teams in the league.
