Oregon Basketball Lands New Mexico Transfer Elijah Brown

The Oregon basketball program is starting its week and the month of May off with some great news.
On Monday morning, Jon Rothstein of Fan Rag Sports reported the high-scoring New Mexico transfer has committed to the Ducks. As a graduate transfer, Brown will be eligible to play immediately.
Last season, Brown led the Lobos in scoring with 18.8 points per game. The 6-foot-4 guard added 5.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.
It is a major boost for Oregon, which watched a mass exodus of players leaving for the NBA Draft after a 33-6 campaign, including a run to the Final Four in the 2017 NCAA Tournament before being bounced by eventual national champion North Carolina.
Expect Brown to make an immediate impact for the Ducks with his ability to light up the scoreboard.
