The 2017 NHL Playoffs continue on Saturday night as the Pittsburgh Penguins attempt to punch their ticket to the next round of the postseason in Game 5 against the Washington Capitals in the nation’s capital.
Pittsburgh jumped out to a hot start and claimed the first two games on the Capitals’ home ice to earn the early series lead.
Washington was able to bounce back in Game 3 by stealing a game on the road, before the Penguins rebounded in Game 4 without star Sidney Crosby, who practiced in full earlier this week and has not ruled out a return in Game 5.
If Crosby returns to the ice, all of the momentum will be on Pittsburgh’s side with the Capitals already on life support.
