Michigan State’s Michael Geiger Does Windmill Celebration Across Stage At Graduation

Michigan State kicker Michael Geiger celebrated one of the biggest achievements of his academic career the same way he celebrated the biggest moment of his football career for the Spartans: with an epic windmill celebration.

A member of Geiger’s family took to social media to share a video of Geiger walking across the stage for graduation.

Before he accepted his diploma, Geiger performed the windmill celebration that became an internet sensation after his game-winning field goal which secured a last-second win for Michigan State over the Ohio State Buckeyes during the 2015 season.

As they did when Geiger split the uprights on his 41-yard kick in November two years ago, the crowd went wild.

Well done, young man.

That field goal against Ohio State is a moment Geiger will never forget, so it’s appropriate that he once again paid homage to that special play before leaving campus for good.
