UNC basketball star Joel Berry II gave much joy to the Tar Heels fan base by leading the team to a national championship in the 2017 NCAA Tournament.
After the title, the 2017 Men’s Final Four Most Outstanding Player provided even more excitement when he announced he would withdraw his name from the NBA Draft and return to North Carolina for his senior year.
Now, today, he’s giving some joy to his family.
On Mother’s Day, Berry took to social media to share a video of his surprise visit to his mom’s home.
When Berry’s mother opened the door to her home, there was her son waiting. Her reaction clearly shows you she had no idea Berry would be visiting and you can’t be human if the video doesn’t make you smile.
