VIDEO: Horse Jumps Fence And Nearly Wipes Out Cyclists

There’s a reason they still measure things in horsepower.
During a race of over 100 cyclists in Donegal, Ireland, a massive white stallion came bounding over a hedge fence out in front of the racers. At first, it’s difficult to understand what is happening.
The stallions appearance is both sudden and dramatic, but once it is clear that everyone is unharmed, it’s quite comical.

The cyclists prove no match for the majestic beast. Not only does he pull away from the pack of bikers with relative ease, he starts to gain ground on the car. Absolutely massive, it is very fortunate that the stallion pulled out in front of the bikers. Had a collision occurred, who knows how many injuries and hospitalization’s might have resulted.
The fellow who was fortunate enough to catch the occurrence on camera is called Jonny Collins. Speaking with the Belfast Telegraph, Collins had this to say about the incident:

“Before the incident took place, we actually saw the thing running alongside the riders in the fields to their right, and watched as it jumped not one fence but two or three between fields before deciding to join the race. We were shocked. It’s not something you expect to see every day.”

Talented horse. They were eventually able to corral the largest athlete in the race and return him to his enclsoure. The horse was unharmed, and the race resumed once he was safely returned home.
