Penn State football star Saquon Barkley is one of the most talented running backs in the NCAA.
Entering the upcoming season, plenty of eyes will be on Barkley and the Nittany Lions as they look to repeat last year’s success. There’s also the fact that Barkley will be one of the top eligible players in the 2018 draft if he chooses to declare early.
But before he suits up for the season-opener, Barkley is rocking a different uniform.
The Penn State Instagram account posted a gallery of photos that show the star running back alongside ESPN’s John Brenkus to film an upcoming segment for “Sport Science.”

Sport Science analyzes and charts various athletic skills of the athletes who step into the lab to provide mind-blowing data you have to see to believe.
Because of his talent, it will be interesting to see how Barkley performs and where he stacks up to past running backs who have appeared on the show, like former Ohio State and current Dallas Cowboys star Ezekiel Elliott.
Last season, Barkley finished the season with 1,496 yards and 18 touchdowns on the ground.
