Max Holloway scored an impressive win over Jose Aldo this weekend to unify the UFC featherweight title.
After being crowned as the undisputed champ at UFC 212, the Waianae, Hawaii native received the ultimate welcome in his home town. The pride of Waianae, Holloway seems lost in his appreciation for the outpouring his hometown fans showed him.

The past few days have been a whirlwind for Holloway. After taking down Aldo and returning home, he is likely kicking back in the rich Hawaiian sun for a few days. Not a bad way to bask in the glory of the biggest victory of his career.
Everywhere he went, hordes of people had gathered to wish him congratulations and show their support.

Holloway won’t be getting much rest though. There are already people clamoring for the first chance to dethrone him. Contender Frankie Edgar recently said he is the only logical decision for Holloway’s first title defense.
Nothing is set yet, but Holloway will likely be getting back to work before too long. Once you become champion, everyone starts looking to knock you off.
