Kevin Owens has followed in the footsteps of so many wrestlers before him. He’s sustained an injury, and downplayed it the way an average person wouldn’t be able to do.
On Wednesday, he announced that he’d broken his thumb.
Owens posted a picture of his hand in a cast via his personal Twitter handle.

Owens isn’t expected to miss any ring time as a result of the injury. That’s good news for the American Champion, who is scheduled to fight in “Money in the Bank 2017.”
It’s unclear how the thumb will hinder him in the ladder match, but he appears confident.
He even went so far as to name his broken bone: #TheThumbOfAmerica
The severity of the broken thumb isn’t exactly known. However, Money in the Bank 2017 is only 11 days away and it’s hard to imagine it’ll be totally healed up by then. He showed signs of discomfort in his most recent match against Shinsuke Nakamura, but was able finish the fight, but failed to notch a victory.
