Former Ole Miss and East Mississippi Community College starting quarterback Bo Wallace found himself in trouble with the law over the weekend.
According to Antonio Morales and Will Sammon of The Clarion-Ledger, Wallace, who is currently a quarterbacks coach for his old stomping grounds at EMCC, was arrested late Saturday night and charged with driving under the influence.
Wallace was released Sunday morning after posting bond.
While there are few details provided surrounding Wallace’s DUI arrest, EMCC head coach Buddy Stephens says Wallace had taken prescription medicine on Saturday before falling asleep while driving home from a youth camp. Wallace crashed his vehicle after falling asleep at the wheel.
More information is expected to be released on Monday.
Before joining Stephens’ staff at EMCC, Wallace served as the quarterbacks coach at Marshall County High School in Tennessee.
