Hawaii Football Player Suffers Serious Head Injury In Diving Accident

One Hawaii football player is currently recovering from a serious head injury.
According to a report from Michael and Stephen Tsai of The Star Advertiser, defensive tackle Kalepo Naotala was hospitalized after suffering a serious head injury while diving near Waikiki Beach.
Naotala is an incoming freshman who is just 19 years old.
He is currently in serious condition.
According to reports, Naotala was diving off of a well-known diving spot known as Kapahulu Groin.
Our thoughts are with Naotala and his family while we wish him a full and speedy recovery.
The 6-foot-3, 280-pounder from Newport News, Virginia was a two-star recruit who was expected to contribute along the offensive line as part of the rotation from Day 1.
