Notre Dame Football Announces Home-And-Home Series With Arkansas

The Notre Dame football team announced a home-and-home series with a Power Five program in the toughest conference in college football.
On Thursday, the Fighting Irish announced they have scheduled two future meetings with the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Notre Dame will host the Razorbacks on Sept. 12, 2020 to mark the first meeting between the two teams. Five years later, on Oct. 4, 2025, Notre Dame will make the trip to Arkansas for Round 2.
“This two-game series will provide our program with another opportunity to play a top-caliber foe from the Southeastern Conference,” said Fighting Irish head coach Brian Kelly in a statement released by the university.
“Coach (Bret) Bielema is a tremendous coach and his teams have always played a physical style of football. I know our team and fans will be excited to play the Razorbacks.”

Notre Dame previously announced future home-and-home series against two other SEC programs — Georgia and Texas A&M.
As for this season, the Fighting Irish will kickoff their 2017 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 2 against Temple at Notre Dame Stadium.
