UFC Champ Tyron Woodley Freestyles On Sway In The Morning

|

UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is set to defend his title against Demian Maia on a stacked UFC 214 pay-per-view card on July 29 in Anaheim, Calif.

But before he steps into the Octagon, Woodley is making the rounds and promoting his fight in the media.

One of those press stops led Woodley to “Sway in the Morning,” where he showed off a different skill set of his. Woodley decided to drop a freestyle during the segment to the beat of Future’s “Mask Off.”

Surprisingly, Woodley showed he has some decent bars.

Woodley rapped on a variety of topics, but he closed out the freestyle with the ultimate mic drop — a shot at his upcoming opponent’s style; “Backpack, backpack, I’m about to slay him.”

Check it out:

We will have to see if Woodley’s performance inside of the cage on July 29 is equally as impressive.

UFC 214 is headlined by a light heavyweight championship rematch between current title holder Daniel Cormier and former champion Jon Jones. It promises to be an incredible night of fights at the Honda Center.
