There is a reason Mother’s Day is such a big deal around all of the major professional sports. Every year on that day, we see an endless number of professional athletes take to the internet to thank their mothers for everything they’ve done for them.
It seems like the bigger and meaner the dude, the more he loves his mama.
And with good reason. Curtis Samuel’s mom recently proved that a mothers work is never done.
Even after her son was drafted by the Carolina Panthers, she was still the one dropping him off at practice.

Panthers rookie receiver Curtis Samuel getting dropped off at the dorm… By his mom. Good stuff.

Brooklyn born and raised, Samuel attended Ohio State after he became nothing short of a folk hero for those at Erasmus High School in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn.
The second-round pick will have one of the best quarterbacks on the planet throwing to him in Carolina, and he’ll be expected to contribute right away. But on days when footballing gets him down, you can be his mom will be there to pick his spirits up.
