Top high school basketball recruits Zion Williamson and LaMelo Ball led their AAU teams against each other at the adidas Summer Championships in Las Vegas on Wednesday night.
It was a packed crowd at the Cashman Center, with the two highly-touted players putting on a show.
As you would expect, both Williamson and Ball led their teams in scoring.
For LaMelo, it was an opportunity to show how he can fair scoring against tough competition. And he did not disappoint, showing his body control in the lane with a fancy lay-up over the No. 2 recruit in the 2018 class.

Unfortunately for LaMelo and the Big Ballers, Williamson was able to steal a pass at a crucial time and take it across the court for a big, game-sealing dunk.
Williamson’s squad ended up defeating the Big Ballers, 104-92.

Better luck next time, LaMelo. At least there were plenty of butts in the seats to enjoy the show.
