Brock Lesnar Responds To Jon Jones’ Callout After UFC 214

|

Jon Jones was able to reclaim the UFC light heavyweight title with a knockout victory over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214 on Saturday night.

But while his redemption story and the highlight reel finish made headlines, it was Jones’ post-fight press conference that really stole the show. After his win, the newly crowned champ issued a challenge to former UFC heavyweight champion and current WWE star Brock Lesnar.

“Brock Lesnar, if you want to find out what it’s like to get your ass kicked by a guy who weighs 40 lbs less than you, meet me here,” Jones said.

Shortly after Jones issued his challenge, Lesnar responded with a straight and simple message.

“Be careful what you wish for, young man,” he said, via MMAFighting.com.

There have recently been discussion about Lesnar potentially returning to the UFC after his WWE contract expires, and with the two men seeming to agree to the fight, we could be closer than ever to seeing this superfight take place.

Of course, before Lesnar can return to the Octagon he will need to re-enter the USADA testing pool and serve out the final six months of his current suspension.
