It’s going to be hard to say no to an offer from the ECU football program, simply because of the beauty of their new offer letters that were sent out on Tuesday to approximately 30 potential prospects.
The Pirates took to Twitter to unveil the new letters, which capture the very essence of the team’s namesake.
The Pirate-themed letters feature burnt edges on an old-style paper to resemble a treasure map, while being sealed with a custom wax ECU logo.

Simply incredible.
According to 247 Sports, the letters were the brainchild of director of player personnel Ethan Johnson and recruiting quality control coordinator Kevin Slattery.
Well done, ECU. We will just now have to see how these pay off on the recruiting trail.
