VIDEO: Kansas’ Udoka Azubuike Nearly Rips Down Hoop In Italy

|

The Kansas basketball team is currently on a tour in Italy and it provided center Udoka Azubuike with a great opportunity to show off just how strong he can throw it down.

The 7-foot, 280-pounder was with the Jayhawks as they took on Stella Azurra/HSC Roma when he threw down a thunderous jam that nearly brought down the entire hoop.

This is what Azubuike wants and what people expect… #KUbball pic.twitter.com/i18XMIBjR3

That wasn’t all.

Azubuike went on to throw down two more dunks, with one knocking the hoop out of alignment and forcing a delay.

Anyone think it's gonna happen??? No. 3 for the #KUbball big fella pic.twitter.com/3rdftpgC4y

That is some raw power.

After seeing exactly what Kansas’ big man was capable of doing, the arena staff came over to the hoop and added reinforcements to ensure Azubuike wouldn’t be ripping the basket down to the ground.

They legitimately just reinforced the basket & Self came over to take a look. #UdokaEffect #KUbball pic.twitter.com/KWml5nntJw

As you would expect, Kansas went on to win the game, 90-56, with Azubuike contributing 13 points.
