Ex-Rutgers Linebacker L.J. Liston Charged With First-Degree Murder

Shocking news coming out of Flint, Michigan on Monday. Former Rutgers linebacker L.J. Liston has been arrested for the first-degree murder Larry James Dunn on July 30 in Flint.
Initial police findings suggest that this was a revenge killing for an earlier homicide.
Dunn was 44-years-old, while Liston is only 22.
In addition to a first-degree murder charge, Liston is facing charges of felony firearm, possession with intent to deliver cocaine less than 50 grams and careless discharge of a firearm causing injury or death.
According to MLive.com, Liston is currently in jail and is being held without bail.
A 30-year-old woman was also injured during the melee, according to court documents.
Liston was arraigned in court on Aug. 4, and will appear before Genesee District Judge William H. Crawford on Aug. 17.
During his time at Rutgers, Liston played mostly special teams and was the subject of multiple disciplinary measures. He was removed from the team without an exact reason being given to the public for his dismissal.
