CFL Receiver’s TD Celebration Attempt Went Terribly Wrong

|

After bouncing around squads in the NFL, former USC wide receiver Vidal Hazelton landed with the CFL’s Edmonton Eskimos.

Last weekend, Hazelton and the Eskimos faced off against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats where Edmonton earned a 33-28 win to remain undefeated.

Hazelton contributed a touchdown during the game, but it was his celebration afterwards that went viral.

The wide receiver attempted to hurdle a sign in the back of the endzone to continue his celebration, but he misjudged his jump and ended up crashing through the barrier and onto the ground.

To Hazelton’s credit, he poked fun at himself on social media for the little mishap, even pointing out the ironically placed advertisement.

Better luck next time, Vidal.
