There was reportedly a wild scene in Los Angeles Wednesday night that led to multiple arrests, including NBA star Zach Randolph.
Randolph was one of three people arrested and his charge is a serious one.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the 6-foot-9 forward was arrested for marijuana possession with intent to sell which is a felony. His bail was set at $20,000.
After arrests were made, TMZ Sports describes the madness that unfolded.
After the arrests, we’re told things got crazy — the crowd became unruly and LAPD had to call for backup.
We’re told 6 cop cars were vandalized — tires slashed and windows busted — and cops formed a battle line to restore order.
In the end, cops recovered 2 guns, drugs, a significant amount of cash and 2 vehicles were impounded — though it’s unclear if any of those things belonged to Randolph.
Randolph recently signed a two-year, $24 million deal with the Sacramento Kings.
No official comment has been made by the Kings or Randolph’s camp at this time.
