The Auburn football team has officially announced its starting quarterback for the 2017 season.
After the team’s second scrimmage and reports that Baylor transfer Jarrett Stidham was separating himself from the competition, Tigers head coach Gus Malzahn informed his players on Monday that Stidham would enter the season atop the team’s depth chart.
Stidham was battling Sean White and Malik Willis for the starting gig.
Auburn’s official Twitter account tweeted out the news, along with Malzahn who shared a brief message of his own.
