The Florida football program continues to deal with its fair share of off-field issues.
On Thursday, a police report was uncovered by Matthew Head and Neal Bennett of First Coast News that shows two members of the two were arrested for marijuana possession at their apartment on campus.
The two players who busted were freshman linebacker Ventrell Miller and freshman wide receiver James Robinson.
Robinson and Miller both admitted to campus police that they had marijuana in their drawer when they arrived. Police arrived after smelling a “strong odor of burnt cannabis emanating in the air” shortly after midnight.
Miller was already one of seven players suspended for the Gators’ season-opener against Michigan. Among the seven suspended players is star wide receiver Antonio Callaway, so if Robinson is also suspended the team’s receiving corp will be incredibly thin.
