Texas Commit Keondre Coburn Rescued By Boat After Hurricane Harvey

Hurricane Harvey absolutely pummeled Houston, Texas. There have been a number of generous donations made to help aid the relief efforts in the Lone Star state, but the safety of human lives is the top priority.
Nobody has been immune from the damaging effects of the massive storm, and that includes Deondre Coburn.
The Texas football commit tweeted out a video of himself as he was being rescued by boat. Outside of his home, the city is underwater for as far as the eye can see. That’s when a small boat trolleys over and picks him up.
It’s startling to watch the breadth of the flooding.

Coburn is supposed to be a difference maker for Texas when he arrives on campus. He was competitively recruited by the top Div. I schools in the country before he decided to play for Texas. He is a Houston, Texas native, and ranked as the 5th best player at any position in a state replete with top football talent. ESPN ranks him as the 52nd best player at any position in the entire United States.
Coburn is understandably one of the marquee signing of the 2018 recruiting class for the Texas Longhorns.
