Sure it didn’t look great early, but @OhioStateFB will be number one in the end pic.twitter.com/Uqpz1CmNOU

The Ohio State Buckeyes entered the 2017 college football season as the No. 2 team in the nation.
On Thursday night, Urban Meyer’s squad kicked off the season with a trip to Bloomington to face off against the Indiana Hoosiers. It was ugly for the Buckeyes early as they trailed at halftime, 14-13.
Ohio State eventually found their rhythm and pulled away in the second half, winning 49-21.
Despite the impressive finish, there was some early questions regarding the slow start but FOX Sports radio host Colin Cowherd doesn’t seem too concerned.
In fact, Cowherd said that Ohio State team he saw on Thursday night looks like the No. 1 team in the nation — of course, most teams have yet to play.
Still in 3rd quarter. On road. Separation begins. Hoosiers look gassed on D. Worn down by Buckeyes size. Looks like number one to me

We will have a better idea of where Ohio State stands after opening weekend is in the books, especially after No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 Florida State kickoff the season at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game.
