The Navy football program opened up its 2017 campaign on Friday night with a dominant 42-19 win over Lane Kiffin’s FAU Owls.
It was an impressive start to the season for the Midshipmen, and a great way to build excitement for the upcoming series, “A Season With Navy Football” on Showtime. The series, which features a behind-the-scenes look at the Navy football, program, is set to debut on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at 10:00 p.m. ET.
Previously, “A Season With” featured Florida State and Notre Dame, but know we are set to get a closer look than ever at one of the nation’s top and most successful military academies in the football world.
Here is a look at what we can expect this season on the show:
“For the past decade, despite the intensely rigid daily structure and routine, despite the unique academic and athletic demands, the result has been one of the most accomplished football programs in the country,” the trailer states.
If previous seasons are any indication, “A Season With Navy Football” is going to be a must-watch for college football fans.
Be sure to tune in on Tuesday night to see the premiere episode while the Midshipmen prepare for their Sept. 9 clash with Tulane. Kickoff between Navy and the Green Wave is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on the CBS Sports Network.
