The Liberty football program gave all students at the university a reason to celebrate.
During a rally to celebrate the Flames’ historic upset victory over Baylor on Saturday, Liberty University President Jerry Falwell announced that classes would be canceled to allow students to continue the celebration.

Liberty’s win over Baylor was the largest FPI upset in the past decade.

While Liberty students enjoy the day off of class, the football team must turn its attention toward’s next weekend’s meeting with Morehead State. The Flames’ home opener is set for kickoff at 6:00 p.m. ET on ESPN3.
