The Miami football team will not be taking the field this week.
On Wednesday morning, the program announced this weekend’s game against Arkansas State has been canceled due to concerns over Hurricane Irma, which appears poised to make landfall in the United States on Sunday morning.
While the game was going to be held in Arkansas, Miami decided to cancel the game due to concerns regarding their travel back to South Beach.
The game will not be rescheduled.
