Buddy Boeheim, the son of Syracuse basketball coach Jim Boeheim, has committed to play for his father and the Orange.
On Friday, Boeheim’s youngest son released a commitment video via The Post-Standard. Boeheim, who has been gaining interest on the recruiting trail over the summer, will not take up a scholarship spot since he is the son of a university employee.
The Brewster Academy standing is currently related as a three-star recruit and the No. 2 overall player in the state of New Hampshire. His high school teammate, Isaiah Mucius, is the top player in the state.

Boeheim held scholarship offers from Gonzaga, UMass, Iona and Binghamton before choosing the Orange.
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard will join the Orange as a member of the Class of 2018.
