At UFC 215, Gilbert Melendez was virtually fighting on one leg.
After taking repeated and devastating leg kicks from Jeremy Stephens in their featherweight bout on the pay-per-view card, Melendez continued to push forward, but was favoring his leg, unsteady and continuously falling to the ground.
Stephens won a clear-cut decision, while Melendez was left limping out of the cage.
Following the fight, people were wondering what Melendez’s leg would look like the next day. Well, his wife, Bellator fighter Keri Anne Taylor-Melendez, shared a photo of his battered leg on social media.
SPOILER ALERT: It’s brutal.
Hey All. Everyone is asking about Gilbert's leg. Here is a pic today. He is doing A ok. Thank you to all for the support. We feel the love pic.twitter.com/VQpNj7JlTO

That’s going to take some time to heal. And just think about this for a second: a man fought in a cage against a high-level opponent for 15 minutes with that supporting his weight.
That’s toughness most of us can only dream of.
