The Miss America 2018 pageant was held on Sunday night and if you’re a college football fan, Miss South Carolina Suzi Roberts definitely stuck out.
Leading up to the pageant, Roberts made it very clear that she has incredible lover for her alma mater, the University of South Carolina. In fact, prior all of the participantsin Miss America participated in the “Show Us Your Shoes Parade” and Roberts used that opportunity to show her ties to the school.
While there were a number of extravagant looks, Roberts dressed up as the South Carolina mascot: a gamecock.
Roberts revealed her look with a shoutout to Cocky, the university’s mascot.

During her time at South Carolina, Roberts was a member of the school’s nationally ranked dance squad. She went on to become an Atlanta Falcons cheerleader, before winning Miss South Carolina and earning her crown.
Unfortunately, Miss South Carolina’s run ended in the top ten on Sunday night, but she will live on in the spirit of her Gamecock faithful. Forever to thee.
