FIU-Indiana Game Canceled Due To Hurricane Irma Aftermath

Hurricane Irma has forced another college football program to cancel its home game scheduled for this weekend.
Following the postponement of Florida State-Miami and the cancellation of Georgia Tech-UCF, school officials announced on Tuesday morning that the FIU-Indiana game has been canceled.
According to a statement from FIU, the game has been “deferred to a future date.”
FIU has also canceled a number of other athletic events, included a men’s soccer match, women’s soccer match, volley tournament and women’s golf tournament.
Indiana was set to host the game in Bloomington, but FIU decided the difficulties of traveling to and from Miami was too much.
