The Texas football team took a shot at its Week 3 opponent with an epic Throwback Thursday post.
The Longhorns take on USC on Saturday and the Trojans have been promoting the game — which is the first time the two teams will meet since their epic 2006 Rose Bowl meeting — by claiming to have a 4-0 record against Texas.
Well, there’s one problem: Texas beat USC in the Rose Bowl to claim the national title.
But because the game was retroactively vacated due to NCAA sanctions against USC, the Trojans are pretending that the game never even happened.
The Longhorns decided to remind USC of their loss, however, with a brilliant troll post on Thursday.

Well played, Longhorns.
Texas and USC are set to face off at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday night. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. ET on FOX. Get your popcorn ready, because this is going to be fun.
